Range report/finger issues II
« on: May 28, 2006, 01:40:35 PM »
What a great day...Recently I posted on trigger issue with new SP-01. I thought about replacing the trigger with one from cz85. Instead,I got some 600 grit sandpaper and did the trigger with it.I then used dremel with compound and polished trigger smooth. What a difference it made! No more bite with each squeeze! I also had accuracy issue with pistol the first time out. A very consistent 2 in. hole at 7:00. I watched the Todd Jarrett video several times, applied his advice and shot the best groups(25 ft.,freehand, indoor) that I've ever shot! As it turns out(as I expected), it was the operator..not the gun. I hope someone can benefit from my experiences. I hope you all enjoyed the weekend.I know I did.....Thanks.     Jim

It may not be the best shooting you ever saw,but it's the best I've done to this point. The trigger is polished. It is very smooth to the touch. And it dosen't bite like it used to. Internally, though it is stock. It works just fine.      Jim
