On a semi-OT note... how are Impact Guns as a shopping site? Say, compared to Midway, in terms of reliabilty, speed of shipping, etc.?

TIA!

Well, Impact is just down the road from me, so I have not used them for mail order. I did have them order my SP-01, it took forever because of the lack of supply. They have a great shop(s) so I would expect they would have a good internet shop.

Check with MANOFSTEEL69, who participates here on the forum (and in the Classified areas.)  He's an FFL who has been offering good prices, and recently contributed a Tactical Block to the forum as a fund raiser.  He probably has as good a price as anyone, and I think he had one in stock a week or two ago...

Rio,

I was in the Impact location in Kearns the other day and was inquiring about a TS .40.  The tall Belgian guy told me somebody had ordered one up in Ogden.  It must have been your gun that he was talking about!  Please let me know your impressions of this firearm.  I'm thinking about getting one myself.  Also, may I ask what they charged you for it?

Hi,

I ordered an SP-01 Tactical, not a TS .40. He may have had the two guns confused... both are "Tactical."

The tactical blocks seem to be going fast. Last week the local gunshop received three of them. Two were sold within hours and the third is on hold for somebody. The price was at the high end: $111. Not surprisingly, this shop has also sold a number of SP-01's.
