Witness Limited Grips
« on: January 17, 2015, 08:42:11 AM »
I have a Witness Limited. PN: 600340. The aftermarket grips I found online were very expensive so I searched. I found the grips below. The guy who makes them (CopperGunGrips.com) said he had just made some full sized Witness grips and would give me a small discount to try them out.

First thing was the grips had not been cut for the magwell. Easy enough to solve with a very sharp hobby saw blade. Just laid the original wooden grips on top of the longer new grips and very carefully cut them off. The fit was very good after cutting them.

The feel was considerable better than the stock wooden grips. They are narrower also and that helps with my small hands and arthritis. So, here's some pictures.

Those look great! I can't tell for sure from your photos, but it appears that they eliminated the decorative border grove found on the factory plastic grips. If so, then they are probably better looking than their previous version. These are a great alternative to the more expensive Xtreme grips or the hard to find Henning grips.

Thanks, I think they look great and I like the boarder not being there although I expected it would from the pictures of similar models he sales.

They feel great. As if wrapped in grip tape.
