Hello all...newbie here.
Just picked up my SP-01.
First impressions: This thing's a tank! I love it. I like heavy guns and this thing definitely fits the bill. Can't find anything at this point to complain about. This piece is sweet! I hope to shoot it tonight.
Here's my question. When I first saw the gun...the guy said it was the tactical model. The model number is 1152. I looked at CZ's price list and they have the tactical as # 1153. I told the guy it was'nt (he jacked the price up from $450 to $499 once he "found out" this was a tactical)...we went back and forth for awhile...his response was "only the tactical comes with night sites" etc. I finally threw in the towel and bought it. ($499 is'nt a bad price either way).
Like I said, my gun is model # 1152, has the 3 slots cut in the rail, manual safety and tru dot sights.
This is not the tactical model...correct?

Thank you Sportshooter.
It's good to know I was'nt on the wrong end of that "debate".
Can't wait to shoot it...I'll check in after I do!

Mine is an '06, night sights, 3 rail cut, and manual safety, the tactical comes with a decocker.
Yeah, it is pretty sweat isn't it?

I find quite a few shops putting both guns out as "Tactical" but you are correct, only the decocker model is the Tactical, the other model is just SP01.

Sonny...it's obviously an honest mistake these dealers are making. Kind of surprises me though that they are that unfamiliar with thier product.
Put 3 boxes through her Saturday. Had one jam. Not bad for a brand new gun. Accuracy was good. Love the weight...muzzle flip is basically non existant and follow up shots very quick.
The trigger is lacking...I'll give it another 800rds or so until I look at some work.
All in all...very pleased!
