That is very nice!

I have a desire for CZ to make something like this, but with the thinner slide width [at the back part] of the 75, and somehow cutting the grip down about a 1/2 inch [and making ~12 round magazines for it with the ability to still use the higher capacity 75 magazines].  It would look a lot like what you've done here, though.  You did a great job on yours!

I want to have one now..although I am not fond of compacts at all !!

Why did you drill the frame? wouldn't a shorter guide rod do? what about using the guide rod from the compact and shortening it?
Since I dont have these at hand, I cant check for myself, and I would depend on inputs here.

Thanks guys,

Coolbox, the reason the frame has to be drilled is because the recoil spring setups are so different that the holes in the front of the slide are also different sizes. The hole in the slide for the rami is about twice the size of the compact hole so you can't just cut down a compact guide rod.( that would be to easy)

So your options are weld something to the slide to bring the hole size down and use a compact guide rod or drill the frame. Even with the frame drilled the compact upper still works as normal but now it can also use the fat rami recoil setup.

Could you make a reducing sleeve to bring the hole size down?

Like the Glock Gen 4 bushing that allows using guide rods rather than RSAs?

Not sure if any not permanent reducer can be used or not would be something worth looking into if you dont have the  equipment to drill the frame.

Been trying to find a Compact Slide for my RAMI!  Would it work on a RAMI-P?  Besides the hammer width, what other work does your 'RAMI 4.0' require?  More pix of that, please.

@Thomson Custom
I know a guy who makes Aluminum guide rods. If I could get a guide rod made to size, do you think we could do away with frame drilling? If so, this could be a future project for me. I would not want to drill any frames.

Amazing project Thomson! If you don't mind I'd like to pin a couple of the pics to the CZ Pistol board I have on Pintrest.

Hmmm that's a good question, it might be possible if the back half of the guide rod was the size of a PCR/compact and the front was the rami size to match the slide.

Go right ahead Sir.
