Checking serial # of a SP-01 tactical
« on: February 04, 2015, 08:34:15 PM »
I have the chance to purchase a tactical in 40 s&w at a fairly good price. Can someone refer me to a good reference site to check the serial # for it's history? The gun, I've been told is several years old. I've been given a ser. # SKU91xxx. any help will be appreciated.   Lon

CZ-USA is the only resource I'm aware of and all they'll be able to tell you is the date of manufacture and which distributor they shipped it to.

The last 2 digits of the year of manufacture will be stamped on the gun. If it's two years old you should see a 13 in a circle. That Doesn't mean that was when it was sold. Older CZs from the 90s can have a manufacture date several years before their sale date. If it comes with the factory target it will have month, day, year of testing.

My plan now is to call CZ-USA and find out where it was sold. Thanks.
