« on: February 13, 2015, 09:31:43 PM »
Does CZ Customs have these from time to time or should I just buy this one $760 out the door?

thank you,

I am not real knowledgeable about CZ values but i would pay that for a blued 97 in good condition rite now.
Will work for CZ pics! (including but not limited to all CZ clones)

The Glossy Blue is very hard to find and I would pay that for a new Glossy Blue 97B without regrets.

Buy it immediately.  I have 2.  The last production run I have found is from 2012.  Maybe there is a new one.  It is a fantastic finish.

Does the price really matter if you really want it though?  Get the gun before someone figures out there is one available.  Very doubtful you will ever see a new one at regular MSRP anywhere.

Post pics after you wipe off the factory crud.

I bought a new 2014 Glossy Blue from David at CGW last year.  It's a beauty and shoots just as good as it looks.

A little late in posting on this thread, but have been keeping an eye out for 97's on Gunbroker.  The glossy ones are bringing $900 +/- over there.  Rare birds and more interest in the 97's of late

Just sold a CZ97 Glossy with a small blemish (otherwise perfect) and 5 extra aftermarket mags for $950.  Had everything as new, including the cardboard box.

I went to look at the pistol, but it didn't look glossy blued.  Gun store owner said it was a different finish from the poly is there another finish besides black poly and glossy blue? I compared the finish to a 97b they had in blk poly and they looked the same.  These were older 97's with the wood grips.

I'm confused it didn't look anywhere as glossy as the pictures I've seen here.  Is model 01412 gloss blued the one I should be looking for?

I used to have one and the bluing was quite attractive. No mistaking it for poly. Very shiny finish.

I have the 01402 which is glossy blue with wood grips.  I believe the 01412 is the same glossy blue with aluminum grips.  I have a 01402 NIB with wood grips, so I know that is correct.  This is what I've observed when I put the part numbers through a Bing search.  To the point above, there should be a noticeable difference in the finish between glossy blue and polycoat.  I have an SP-01 Tactical polycoat and there is no confusing the finish between these two guns.  Hope this helps.

here is a direct comparison of Glossy Blue to Polycoat. Love both guns but the glossy blue is just  beautiful.

Here is a good shot of what the Glossy Blue can look like when clean.

I have two 97Bs in glossy blue.  One I use and the other NIB.  Both are the wood grip.  Have not found any of the alum grip in glossy blue.  I also have three 75b in glossy blue.  Yes.....I like glossy blue
