Aperture sights for a 452 Scout
« on: February 19, 2015, 08:55:19 PM »
I am new to the forum, so if this question has been asked over and over, I apologize.  I recently purchased a 452 Scout for my 10 yr old son, who shoots on a competitive shooting team.  He will need match/target aperture sights for a number of his competitions.  I am struggling to find a front globe that will fit the 11mm dovetail slot.  Also, I would really like to find a rear sight that attaches to the built-in dovetail base on the receiver.  I have seen the Williams and Lyman rear sights that require tapping.  Does anyone know where I might find a match aperture sight set that will fit the 452 Scout?  I appreciate the help.  Thanks.

Bowbender, here is a pic of my 452 Full Stock with an aperture sight set up. I am using a Gehmann 590 rear sight and a Gehmann adjustable iris. The front aperture is a front globe from a CZ Std match set, that a gentleman by the name of Denny on the Rimfire Central (RFC) sells. His RFC handle is "brnoman". Contact him and see how he can help you get set up.

The BRNO front sight will not work on the Scout or the CZ 513.
