CZ 75 BD slide, is this normal or is it missing pins?

Hi Guys,

 Was doing some dry fire drills with a CZ 75 BD when I noticed that there is a hole below and in front of the rear sight that I can see all the way through.    Is this normal or is there supposed to be pins in there?   When I look at the dissemble picture



I see 57a and 57b which appear to be pins but I am not sure if they go in that hole i am referring to are if they are used to hold the rear sight.

Those are what holds the firing pin and block in. Do you have pictures of your slide? Do you still have the firing pin block installed? Is this a new or used pistol?

New,  test round 9/2014 I believe.  About 350 rounds of 115gr FMJ.

I don't know if you can tell from the photo but you can see the white line of my work mat through the hole in the slide.

Looks like your good to go to me. Your just seeing thru the two roll pins. When I enlarge the picture I can see both roll pins.
   FWIW, look on the slide. You should see 2 numbers then a symbol then the serial number. The first two digits before the symbol are the year.

Yup, that's normal. Just the roll pins you can see through.

If you upgrade your slide with CGW's retaining pin, it will be like looking through a tunnel

 I just checked mine - exact same...like the Hero members stated - you can see through the roll pins
