I was hoping to grab one more CZ-82 before the prices jumped up beyond what I was willing to pay.  The brown truck of happiness fulfilled those hopes earlier today! Pics:

Yes, the mag fits more tightly...just happened to be in a half-out stage when I took the pics.

Nice find!! I just purchased my first (hopefully not last) 83 on gun broker this week for $209. The finish is pretty beat up, but I'm already planning on Cerakoting it so that's no big issue to me.

ZardozCZ: a member of this forum reached out to me.  His wife switch to something more modern so he had an 82 up for grabs.

Hairlesswookie:  I'm with ya.  My first one had a silver slide...not a custom finish, just a lack of finish altogether.  It's a fun project - put up some pics when you've finished!

I just shot my 83 in a "combat" league tonight, and while not my best score, it is a sweet shooting gun that's fun to shoot. I'll be keeping this one. Might get an 82 also, but that would be yet another die and plate setup for the press, and brass to scrounge. Sure like shooting the 83 though!
