I haven't made it to the range yet. Will report back on the blue staying power ASAP.

Your barrel looks good. Thank you for the pic. Be aware that even the black barrels coming from CZ wear around the barrel hood rather quickly. So if yours wears a bit its pretty standard.

That's good to know. Thanks. I figure depending on wear amount, I can touch up with Oxpho on occasion. The more I look at the blue-black on the barrel, the more I like it. It looks really slick in person.

Put about 250 rounds through her today. Blue wore thin on a couple places but not completely off. I touched it up with no problem. Maybe not a step everyone would want to deal with but I like the look. It definitely lasted better than I expected.

Good deal, thank you for the follow up.
Will work for CZ pics! (including but not limited to all CZ clones)

I went one step further (after reading many posts saying it's OK to do so), and wet sanded very slightly the ejector area (forgot the correct name (hood?), but the area with the serial number) and the front couple inches of the barrel. Then I polished the areas and blued it again. It really pops now with a glossy look to the blue-ing. I'll need to touch it up on occasion, but that's fine. Looks much better in person on the blued gun.

Finally took my CZ to the range today. Been way too long. Anyway, the blueing held up really well. No pics right now but it is essentially unchanged from when I applied the Oxpho. Hood stuff.l

Nice.
I really like the looks of the bbl.  I don't think the bbl is stainless,  but polished steel.
