Color me insanely jealous, sir. I wish we had this rifle available inside the United States for civilian purchase, but that will be some time until we can get a 922(r) parts kit for the BREN 805 pistol. I am very happy the conversion kit is out, as that was one thing i was happy to see to use STANAG magazines, available anywhere in the world.
That is one incredibly sweet setup - I did handle the LEO/Military only select fire BREN 805 14 inch barrel at the SHOT show in Vegas, and it just felt right.

That is neat. And I saw your introduction post. You have an impressive CZ collection.

Sadly, if I'm understanding Belgian gun laws though. You must have a "collectors" license. And your "category" is CZ apparently. And with all that ammo. You must also have a "collectors" license for the ammo as well. But even then. You don't get to shoot your full auto guns much, if at all. Right? Though some places I read, say that owning full auto stuff is illegal.

Mind giving some bullet points for Belgian gun ownership? I find gun issues in other countries interesting.

And of course. Every single gun you own is registered. :o

All you say is correct but.

full auto fierams are prohibited in Belgium except if you have a collector licence as me.
when you have a collectors licence you can buy firearms directly in link with you collection.
by exemple my licence is for all fierarms used by police or military units for by NATO and countries members of Varsovie Pact.

When you by a firearms with your licence, you can't fire with it except for test or checking. Not fire with it regullary.
But I you want test your rifle each week ,

And I live in the Land of the Free.....

Kinda doesn't seem that way. Your rifle makes me a bit envious. I would certainly like an opportunity for an 805.

I agree - best we can realistically hope for is an 805 carbine...but I would be happy with that, don't want full auto, myself.

The full auto mode is very interesting with the 2 rounds mode.

I'm a little envious. I'd love one exactly like the OP has. But there's no way I'd trade our overall gun laws for his.

You know, I'm envious of your gun laws also. In your country, guns is synonym of freedom. In Belgium, have gun is synonym of degeneration, serial killer

I think think that is a very good comparison. Also, we can, in most states, actually carry our firearms for self defense. We do have our liberals and leftists who try to make guns synonymous with terrorist and murderer, but enough people see the truth to keep the wingnuts marginalized.
I did something once, just to see if anyone would say squat, and I carried this around all day;

The red line showed how much bigger the case needed to be with the 30 round magazine installed, so i used the 20 rounder. Yes, it was completely loaded, and what drives leftists nuts ia...it was also completely LEGAL in Arizona. :)

 I am seriously looking into this setup below for my Scorpion, as is or when I can legally SBR it with a folding stock;

http://www.511tactical.com/select-carry-sling-pack.html

Arizona recognizes the right to carry any legal firearm in any way we wish without government interference or nosiness. :) So when I SBR the Scorpion, I can legally carry it like that. Now, practically speaking, would that be a great idea for everyday carry? Nope, hardly. For special events, say, Draw Muhammed contests going on down the street? yeah, might not be such a bad idea, and it is great to have that option. Funny thing if, I could probably carry it in this bag I do have without 90% of people realizing what it is. However, that 10% who did would likely be somewhat antsy, being either shooters or LEO who would recognize the magazine pouches. :) Then again, I could just say it's my autoharp case... ;D

Now back to the subject matter for THIS subforum, I think this bag would be awesome for an 805, and I think it would even be long enough for an 805 carbine with the civilian legal 16 inch barrel rifle that meets 922(r)....just sayin'. :)

It's a never ending battle my friend. Gun owners, specifically 2nd Amendment lovers have to fight the folks here every second of every day. Because there are plenty here in the US that think that gun owners are all rabid maniacs.

You say right but you have NRA with a great political influance. I'm active in the only belgian organisation who tried to protect our gun laws.
the problem in Belgium isn't Belgium but Europe. Some politicians dream to ban firearms in the entire Europe.

And the response of our politicians is. It's not us but Europe
