I have two SP-01s and use bladetech holsters.  I would say that in my cases the finish holds up quite nicely.  I dryfire alot, but it does not really show on the finish.

They hold up pretty well. Right at the end of the slide will start to show some where first usually.
I am talking about lots of dry firing and competition. Just for CCW with occasional range use, it will not wear as much.

I still want my guns to look good for as long as I can and still use them so I do like the Garrett holsters. Kydex with a smooth leather lining.

With my 75 Shadow the B.T. DOH rubbed finish off "fast"---especially from the muzzle back on the sides.  With my 75B's  version of the same holster it caused little wear.   Both holsters are the models said to fit at CZC--and they do fit well for comp./range use.

My Sig P239 shows virtually no wear in another type of Kydex/plastic IWB holster.
