Mag Drops
« on: May 13, 2015, 07:20:29 AM »
Good Day fellow shooters. I have a CZ75 SP01 9mm and last night during a USPSA practice session a couple of my magazines would drop 1/8" after a reload. No matter how many times I slapped and racked it the magazine would not engage. ANY THOUGHTS?? Keep in mind I have owned the gun for over a year and never had these issues before.

Thanks

Need more information.  When you say the mag would not engage, are you saying that it won't insert far enough into the gun to allow the slide to strip a round and chamber it?

Are these the same mags that you have always used?

Which magazines and how many rounds are in them?
Issues during initial loading, or just on doing a reload?  Slide open or closed?

Good morning and thank you for the feed back. I discovered the issue, the new base pad I purchased was the wrong size (in depth). Everything is good to go.

Good deal.  Most times I go back to the last modification I made to see if that is the root of the problem...  Glad you figured it out.
