How does 147 gr ammo run through your Scorpion?

Curious, might start loading that bullet weight, wondering if anyone has tried any 147 factory loads.

No idea but would be interested to see hoe it performs out of this barrel. As it stands now I use 124 gold dots for carry and federal fmj for target shooting.  Haven't had any issues yet.

I ran a few 30 round clips with an AAC Evolution when I was evaluating it as a suppressor host. All FMJ but they ran flawlessly. Honestly never had a prblem with 147 in any platform and Scorpion certainly should swallow them like candy. Best Matt

I've got 2000 rounds of 147gr stockpiled up, I haven't shot any of it yet....waiting on can next month...hope it cycles fine...gonna be bummed if it doesn't.

Mine is the same. Flawless on 147 ball. Mine runs flawlessly on anything I feed it.

Very nice videos, thanks for sharing! I guess I should have been more specific - not subsonic. Looking for a heavier bullet weight for hunting. Yes, I realize the Scorpion is the oddest hunting gun you can think of, but I think it would be the bees knees for coyote.

Typically if a gun will reliably cycle subsonic slower rounds, it will have no problems with full power loads. Running the subsonic shows that even with reduced power and supressor, the scorpion works like clockwork. Very nice.

Accuracy testing? My Scorpion has proven 100% reliable with everything I've chucked down the spout from full power +P defensive loads to light cast target puffballs. I am curious what accuracy results people might have gotten so far with 147s. Checked my one local shop that carries reloading supplies...nothing in 9mm bullets this month. Dagnabbit.

Not sure if I have any super fast 147gr, but most all of it is borderline subsonic. the EVO ran the Win T&D stuff fine:

The casings come out of mine looking dark.







These are Speer Lawman TMJ 147gr. I've shot 115gr Perfecta's and they come out more cleaner. This is the first 9mm blowback I've owned, so I'm not sure if this is normal or not.
