I don't see anything that would make it illegal. P09 is in Production gun list. It is factory part. The gun doesn't have to fit in a box.

I had an email exchange with Mark Housel from L and M about this. According to him he can mill in an RMR and a new dovetail for a rear sight. As soon as I save the money, this is what I'm gonna do with a P07.

We could do that as well. You have to mill a new dovetail in front the optic. You can't keep the factory dovetail and put the optic in front.

We've done around 20 P-07's and 09's combined since carry optics was announced so far. Owners had no desire for a rear sight on any of them. Just comes down to how important it is for you I suppose.

Okay... I'm in.  Springer mount for now, then mill the slide and cerakote in midnight bronze to match my P-07.

Just received my cz p07 PRO slide back from L&M precision.  Mark successfully installed glock type suppressor height night sights and a trijicon rmr 07. For anyone who wants an rmr and back up sights look no further.

I can't find where to buy the factory thread protectors anywhere, so I bought two of these on eBay for my P-07 when I had it's threaded barrel custom cut from a standard length P-09 barrel (factory P-07 threaded barrels where on permanent back-order at the time). Having the extra one worked out great for the P-09.

I think your eyes may be playing tricks on you. It's not milled any deeper than any other milled 09/07 slide I've seen.

Well bleep. You just cost me some money. Been thinking about this. Was curious how it would turn out. Looks great. Mark did my 229 a couple months ago. Think I'm gonna buy a CGW P07 and then ship it to Mark.
