I'm seeing things in your photos that are NOT right for a new P-07. Where did you buy it?

Yeah, that doesn't look good for a "new" CZ.  Please keep us posted.

It looks like you have several issues. I would send it back. That's what warranties are for. Good luck!

Why do you say it may not be "new"?

My P07 shows wear around the firing pin and on the hammer from firing.  The one in the picture does not.

The "brass" color on the bottom of the slide is from sliding across the top cartridge in the magazine.

I did notice the shiny spot on the ejector and wonder if that is slightly bent/out of place and dragging on the slide.

If it had been fired very much the finish would be wearing off the top of the barrel hood (mine is).

Remove the recoil spring/guide, reinstall the slide (no barrel, no slide stop) and see if the slide moves freely on the frame rails, or drags/hangs.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

What specifically are you guys seeing that doesn't looke right? Other than an optical illusion on a pic or two, it looks fairly new to my eyes.

Mine shows a little wear on the side of the ejector like that as well.

The only thing I see wrong is the right hand side paint dot fell out of your rear sight.

I put a CZC tactical rear and a FO front on my P09. I just put the FO front on my P07 and blacked out the dots.

I ran about 500 rounds between them alternating on a couple of outings while comparing the two.

On the third outing, it finally struck me that I never noticed the difference in the rear sights, as it was nil. Eyes are not focused on the rear. Shape is essentially the same unless you go to the higher(1mm) H-tac sight.

Colorado Shooter: The huge scrape/wear marks on the ejector are not normal for a new P-07--or any P-07. There's not supposed to be any friction in that area.

There is something wrong with this P-07. Perhaps the ejector got bent so that it now touches the inside of the slide. But it is not supposed to.

I have the same exact wear marks on the ejector, have been there since day 1 and have thousands of rounds down the barrel with no malfunctions. It's just self clearancing, I would not put much stock on that being an indicator of an issue.

CAK: So, you don't think the friction on the ejector is what is impeding the function on this P-07? Don't know, but it looks like a lot of wear. Seem like you could feel it when you rack the slide, though, doesn't it?

Not sure, I just know my slide cycles very smoothly and shoots flawlessly. I think after a few passes, it's self clearanced.

I bought a new Sig M11-A1 about a year ago that gave me a lot of FTE's my first two times at the range.  I broke it down and cleaned it right out of the box, before the 1st range trip.  Cleaned it again after the 2nd range trip.  Then I noticed that the build date was like 2 years old, I called Sig for advice.  The bottom line was that I realized that some of the factory lube had become like wax and it was not obvious that my first cleanings were not doing the job.  But indeed that is what was causing the problem, a more thorough cleaning solved everything and I have not had any more FTE's.

If you have not already sent it to CZ, clean it and clean it again.  And really get all the crevices in the rails.  It might help.

My P07 is a couple years old with several hundred rounds down the barrel.

It has a very small wear mark on the ejector.  Approximately 1/5th the size of the one on your P07.

That would appear to mean that your pistol's ejector rubs quite a bit more than mine does.  Not sure if that's your extraction issue or not.

Multiple thousands of rounds, no failures. Shows similar wear mark on extractor.

Wow, CAK!

I took the slide off my P-07 and saw that it has hardly any wear marks on the ejector compared to yours--which has obviously had some friction on it.

My ejector has only two very small wear marks on front and back, but it is still black finished in the middle.

Yours looks like its been touched with a dremel, but I guess we know that somehow your slide has put the wear on it. At least it's not giving you any trouble. And whatever real resistance you had has been worn off.
