I have a P-02 and a newer P-07.

I have had no problems with either. The P-07 fits my hand better and is easier for me to shoot.

They are both great guns.

I have the P-01, and this summer picked up a new P-07 and then a PCR.  The PCR and P-01 are very similar.  The PCR is my new favorite out of the three.  Love the trigger on the P-07 but the controls are harder for me to manipulate with smaller hands as the decocker is reversed.  To me, the P-07 doesn't feel as good in hand and shooting one handed, but two handed it is great and it is very fun to shoot.

If you really like your PCR, the P-01 will be about the same.  If you want some variety, go P-07.  I haven't had an issue with any of them, including the 07.  All three are awesome guns.

I've checked out the P01 twice at the range--and I really really want to love it.  But even though I'm all about the full size 75 series, the compact just doesn't feel right--and I can't shoot it too well (compared to my tuned SP01 anyway--and worse than my shield!)--maybe it's the factory sights, right.  My hands are small-average, though I wear a men's large glove size.

Meantime I've checked out the P07 as well--and find it comfortable and natural in my hands--I shoot it well unmodified from the range's inventory.  I have a P09, and do best with small backstrap it seems.  So, will eventually be picking up and customizing a P07 I think, (or a sphinx maybe if get a bonus at some point?) rather than any of the classic compacts, for carry.  FWIW my wife liked the P01 more when she tried both, but she just wants to stick with her full size 75.

I have a p01, my buddy has a p07. I like the p01 better, he likes the p07 better but neither of us have a real grip with the other's pistol. In fact, we've both mentioned buying the one we don't own as more than a passing thought

I must mention that I do not like the decocker on the p07, it has this odd reboundy feel, but it wouldn't keep me from owning one

I have both and they are great shooting pistols. The RAMI and P-07 are my carry guns while I shoot the PCR for target and an occasional carry. The PCR is my favorite compact.

Another one here with both (P-02 and P-07 2nd Gen). They are both very good guns. The P-02 has a much better trigger than the P-07. Not saying that the P-07 is bad, because it's not. It is just mushier than the P-02 at the break. Because of the trigger, I shoot the P-02 better than the P-07. I shoot the P-07 better than any other non CZ 9mm though.

I have both as well. My thumb activates the decocker on the 07 while firing - this doesn't happen to me with the P01.

I carry a P-02 (it's basically just a P-01 with a manual safety instead of a decocker) and my wife carries the first gen P-07. Both guns are very accurate, but the P-07 has much harsher recoil and is much harder to hold with sweaty hands because the grip is very smooth in several places. Everyone I know that has shot both seems to perform much better with the P-02, placing follow up shots in less than half the time it takes with the P-07. By no means would I say the P-07 is a bad gun, however.

Both are great options, but the P-02 is my preferred option of the two.

I have two P07s and love them both, fun to shoot and very accurate, they conceal well in an inside the waistband holster, can't go wrong with a P07 Gen 2
