USPSA "production" switching to CZ
« on: September 24, 2015, 07:50:05 PM »
I have shot "PRODUCTION" class with my glock 34 for several years and have decided to switch to  a CZ..
My question to those of you that have shot both models... SP-01 Shadow and the new CTS LS, what are your thoughts on feel/accuracy/recoil etc.... Any destinct advantages/disadvantages?  Im torn on which to buy...Thanks for your input...

I bought both witching s couple months of each other. I bought the shadow first and switched to the CTS when it arrived. I'm thinking of giving the sp-01 more time because I never gave it a fair shake. I do love the CTS though. It's not much longer but I feel it's enough. Especially coming from a g34 like yourself.

You'll be happy either way you go. It's a difference of night and day between a glock and cz. Mine came from CZ Custom so I'm very happy with them.

The recoil are both tame.

I would think that with the short dust cover and more reciprocating mass on a longer slide, the crap would have more felt recoil?  Is that not the case?

It's weird. Science says yes but reality says no. I guess that's why it's 'felt' recoil. I love my cts

Stupid predictive Text. I typed CTS, not crap...lol  I guess you figured it out...
So you both prefer the CTS over the full dust cover SP-01 in competition?
