Hello all - I'm looking to add another CZ to the family in addition to the SP-01 that I picked up earlier this year. Looking at the compacts as I am wanting to use this one not only at the range but also as a carry piece. I was leaning heavily towards a P-07 based on the feedback on this board but came across a lightly used 75 Compact that has me torn.
My SP-01 is the only CZ that I have shot but I have handled a P-07, P-09 and a standard 75 B. I have not had a compact in my hands yet. My buddy had told me about this used 75 compact and I called tonight to confirm it was available, verified the model and condition (was told it was in immaculate shape). I'm 100% on board with a manual safety, that is the setup on my SP-01, my 1911's of course and the setup that I would run on a P-07 if I went that route.
Either gun that I pick up with get some goodies fro CGW down the road.
Price on the 75 Compact is $399+tax (probably looking at $425 out the door). Price on the P-07 at Bud's plus transfer fees I'm looking at $480ish so they aren't too far apart.
I honestly know I won't be stopping at 2 CZ's and if I don't pick up the P-07 then I will probably add a P-09 to the stable down the road.
