Sorry if been asked before.  Will David make a busing for the standard 75 series?  I want to make my 75BD a "full accurate sleeper" that only Cajun trained eyes can recognize...   Right now its about 90% full cajunized.  Well, if you count the new bushing.....85%

Oops!  a senile moment.  I had the impression that this thread was about the bushing for the SP01 (10X).  So after reading the first post I realized that this bushing was indeed for the 75 series.  I guess that I should have read the entire thread before posting. 

Anyways, patiently waiting

An SP-01 Slide and the CZ SA (75 Shadow) slide are the same slide aside from the roll mark. They both use the 0.550 heavy barrel. There is no reason that the bushings should be any different.

Guys, regarding new CGW bushing, some pictures of before and after, showing barrel to bushing fit, would be nice. Also, anyone doing ransom rest test for accuracy? While we know there will be improvement, but only a ransom rest test can show how much.

While I don't have a ransom rest i did shoot off the bench with my load development with the OEM bushing.  I plan on shooting from the bench with the final loads to get a before and after results.  Based on the bushing fit in the slide and the barrel to bushing fit, I'd be shocked if it didn't shoot much better than with the OEM bushing.

I planned on testing the new bushing out but actually found my SP01 firing pin broken broken at the range.  So I have a new CGW firing pin on order with a new retaining pin.  I hope to get out this weekend and test it out.

I put one in a 40 Cal slide and it made a marked improvement. The original had a bit of slop in the barrel/bushing fit so I think the level of improvement will be based on how good/bad you start with.

No pictures or groups...this time.

My friend put the 10x bushing in my 75B/40.  He said the entire process was about 90 minutes.  I am hoping to get her to the range early next week.

I put one of these new bushings in my 75b .40 tonight and it went in easy enough following the procedures that were illustrated on here but now the barrel doesn't have clearance to drop it.  It can't be pushed in either. Waiting to hear back from CGW but I am wondering if anybody else experienced this issue?

I will play with it more tomorrow after work. CGW has already responded and I'll be in the phone with them tomorrow.

Talked to CGW this morning and apparently they had some bushing that are slightly out of spec due to worn tooling that was used to make them. They are sending me two new bushing's with a postage paid return envelope.

Jake, so if I understand right, before installing the bushing into the slide, the barrel could freely slide in and out of the bushing, but once installed then it was too tight and could not go in?  Or is it that it was so snug it never fit in the bushing regardless if the bushing was installed in the slide or not?  Just trying to see if test fit before installing can help or not.  Thanks.

Not sure who you spoke with here, but our tooling is not worn out.  We state on our website some fitting may be required.  This would be the ID.  If you call, we can tell you a very easy way to do this with common tools you probably have on hand.

We have no control over the barrels OD, which is most cases is precise, but there will always be +/- tolerances.
