New Design CGW Barrel Bushing
« on: November 06, 2015, 04:25:24 PM »
We have some new products in the wings.  This is our new prototype CZ barrel bushing.  The pic is a pre-production prototype.  The advantages of the new CGW design are:

  • Fits the slide ID tight, just like the factory bushing for -0- play
  • Fits with no modifications, no machining is required, uses OEM front sight and cross pin
  • Reduces the end play at the barrel muzzle to -0- for a super tight, accuracy enhancing lock-up
  • Very reasonable cost; easy to install by the average owner
  • Black oxide finished to blend in with the slide

Interesting.  Is it still held in by the front sight pin?

Cool. I actually like it shiny. Would add just a touch of bling.

Do you have to remove the bushing to take out the barrel? Is this similar to an Accubushing?

Plan on having these available in December 2015.

Barrel will go in an out, just like an out of the box CZ, bushing does not have to be removed for barrel removal.

Does it stick out further than the barrel? If it does it would protect the barrel crown.

schmeky, I see that you already offer a bushing for the the Tristars/Caniks. How much tighter are these compared to the stock bushings?
