I'm doing a SP-01 Tactical build and just ordered and installed my first 7510X bushing. I couldn't find my deep well 11mm 1/4" socket so I used a standard length one with a 3" extension and a 6" extension. This combo worked out perfectly. I have a gunsmith friend who is fond of using old credit cards to prevent metal on metal contact on gun parts and sights. I grabbed an old one and it was perfect for keeping the extensions from touching the slide surfaces. I stood up the slide and placed it on the edge of my work bench on top of a piece of leather. I was able to wrap my hand around the whole thing to support the slide and hold the extensions in position with the credit card positioned between the slide and extensions. Five or six good whacks with a ball peen hammer and it broke loose and tapped out nicely from there. I froze the new 10X bushing for two hours and it drove in nicely with a plastic hammer and I got the pin groove aligned perfectly the first try. (I had test fitted the bushing before freezing and it would barely start. It would have been a bear.. After freezing for two hours it went about halfway in by hand then drove in firmly from there, so I highly recommend the freezing method)
This was actually quite easy. I had been nervous about it. Piece of cake. The gun has only 200 rounds through it. Incredible difference in barrel fit. It takes just a wiggle then the barrel drops right into place. Same thing removing it. Perfect! Still waiting on a couple parts to arrive from CGW and I'll have her ready to go. I'm so impressed with CGW. This is my 3rd Cajunized CZ. I'm going all out on this one. I believe I will have every part available from them for this gun installed when it's done. I'm thinking this one will give my Accu Shadow a run for its money.

I finally broke down and ordered the 10x bushing for my satin nickel compact.  Hoping to have the installation completed by next week some time.  I already have one on my 75B in .40 and the improvement was very noticeable.

Are you planning on using a blued or hard chrome bushing on your nickel compact?

I have my Satin Nickel 85 Combat at CGW right now waiting on having a Short-reset disconnector and one of the bushings installed. I can't decide if it'd look better with the black or hard chrome bushing.

I'm wanting to see the hard chrome bushing on a black gun. With a stainless trigger and polished barrel hood I think this may really pop. This is how my SP-01 is set up but I put the black bushing in because I thought the hard chrome bushing was only available for the 75's with the smaller OD barrel. I've since learned that David has hard chrome bushings available for the SP-01 in limited quantity. Doh!

I just broke down and ordered the chrome bushing for my CZ-75BD for this very reason. The gun already shoots far better than I do, but the "pop" of this should really look cool. Pix when I get it and get it installed.

You know, I didn't even think about the color of the bushing.  Oh well, I think it turned out looking pretty cool.

That's exactly what I would have done, had I known. I did polish the barrel and it looks good with the black bushing though.

That looks amazing! You have solidified my choice and I'll be having CGW install a black bushing on my nickel combat.

Both of those contrasting bushings look great - makes me glad I ordered the chrome for my black pistol. Should be here tomorrow, then I just have to find the time to work up the nerve to install it!

All done. Went in with little drama. When I removed the front sight roll pin, it managed to go flying off and landed Goddess only knows where. Which was about what I expected, so I had spent the extra $1 and ordered a new roll pin when I ordered the bushing! The old bushing came out with a few taps of a hammer in a manner similar to everyone else. The new bushing just slid in by hand pressure only until about the last .01 or so, a gentle tap seated it. I had chilled it in the freezer for about 15 minutes, it was VERY cold. Drove the new roll pin in - the driven end is slightly bunged up, but not bad - then I went to re-assemble the pistol.

The barrel didn't want to go in until I gave it the tiniest tap with the plastic faced mallet and in it went. Am planning on taking it to the range tomorrow - although to be totally honest, I don't expect to see an real difference in my shooting as I'm still a relative beginner and the stock pistol shoots a lot better than I do!!

Oh, and I like the flange on the end of the new bushing, gives it some style!

Well, although I put a black bushing in my black SP-01 with polished accents, it all worked out just fine. I went ahead and polished the barrel and in a way I'm kind of glad I have the black bushing.

It is indeed!

Took my 75BD with its new bushing to the range today. As I stated before, I'm not a good enough shot to determine that level of improvement - but I will say that the gun ran just fine AND when I got home and cleaned it, I was able to remove/install the bbl without help from the plastic mallet (slight tap) that I had to employ upon first reassembly after installing the bushing.

So its all good!
