LOK Grips on my 75 Compact
« on: December 02, 2015, 06:12:57 PM »
Upgrades to my new Compact are in progress, Monday evening I added a set of LOK Grenade grips in black and gray. Really happy with the way they turned out.

I've added a little skateboard grip tape on the front and back strap - adds a bit of extra grip when hands are sweaty.

They look great!! Are they thinner than the factory grips?

Thanks! They are indeed a bit slimmer than the stock plastic grips that came on mine.

4x4 - those are the stock night sights off my SP-01. They were just sitting in a drawer so I figured I'd try them before I ordered something different. The stock 3-dots weren't working that well for me.

Those look great!  Still deciding to go with this style or more with the Tactical Diamond look in Dirty Olive

Did you change the sights yourself or have it done?

A buddy and I swapped them out ourselves it took maybe 15 minutes and we weren't in a hurry. I was a little worried how hard it might be to get the old ones off but they came off pretty easily.

No issues with the front sight and the pin?

Nope not at all. It was easy to knock out, from there the front sight came off easily and the groove on my SP-01 sight lined up almost perfectly. We ran a drill bit through the hole just to clean it up a bit but it didn't remove much if any material.
