Well, the OP himself said he wanted his first to be a "classic", so really, 75b is going to be it.
For the same reason as the OP, my first was the classic 75b, but I did opt for the matte stainless for the beavertail mainly, and I'm also a stainless freak when I have the option so that worked out great for me.
My second CZ was the TS in 9mm. Wow, what a pistol.
Now if CZ would make a stainless slide, aluminum lightweight frame Compact 75b, I'd jump right on that as my third.
