HBI has their hand guards back in stock, anyone have any first hand experience with the 6.84" flat nose guard?

Thinking about picking this up, I have the full hand guard on mine, and with the newly installed SiCo omega 9k its great, but practicality of keeping things tight is a concern, was thinking about picking up the flat nose guard per sweet looks but making things some what easier for putting on/taking off the can.

Yup the flat nose is the shiz, if youre going from plastic to aluminum guard i also high rec the hbi prostock polymer charge handles. You dont wanna use aluminum handles on an alum guard they chew eachother up then start sticking.

Thank for the heads up, mine are plastic factory. Never upgraded them.

anyone know if this site will re-size the pictures?
Well going to post them. I can?t see pictures on my work computer, and my phone shows this pages in half and pictures I have to scroll. So I hope they come in smaller then on my phone.

After about a year of lurking on here, and a little under a year on waiting for my forms to come back, finally got my can and sbr paperwork.  Has same mods as most people on here. Got to shoot it a few times now, it?s awesome, but already bought the BHI 6? hand guard and looking into the HK3 lug setup per can coming loose on the last mag I shot. Didn?t get a baffle strike, but it?s way to hard to keep things tight inside the guard without lock tite to the barrel, luckily the adapter and can came off together.

Red accessories on guns are a bit out of character for me, but this is by far the most fun gun I own. Tried a few club matches with it and there's always somebody that wants to shoot it afterwards. Even though I reload it's awful hard on the ammo budget.

I've been lurking this forum for a while and I figured it is time to join the fun. I just picked up an Evo pistol a few weeks ago. I have only run a couple hundred rounds through it, but I can tell already I'm going to love this gun.

I haven't done a ton of mods, but here is my current setup:

- HBi spring Kit
- Bushnell TRS-25
- Magpul XTM rail covers
