Best scorpion pic in this thread by far. Anyone know what kind of pistol grip that is?

Thank you for the compliment!! The vertical grip is a Troy Industries aluminum modular grip, the pistol grip is a Yeti Werks - Everest.

All SCAR's are like that!  haha  Every piece is a slightly different shade.  Maybe it's by design to be more camouflaged?  ::)

I've got a 308 itch. Going to be a long time before we see a conversion setup.

It all started when I saw The Siege of Jadotville on Netflix. Bunch of Irish troops in the Congo  in 1961. Lots of FALs. Always wanted a short barrel, folding stock FAL, as an "investment". Kinda hard to find one,  but the SCAR  has a lot of tacticool.

Scratch it!!  :)

Once you're over the price you will not regret it.  I looked at every .308 option I could find and nothing beat the SCAR.  I really like the LMT if I were to go with a traditional AR platform.
