Stock rubber are the best for me, comfortable, just the right thickness, cheap, awesome no-slip hold, great for follow-up shots (I tried them all, wood, aluminum, rubber...), oh, and did I mention they are cheap?

What is it that you do not like about the stock grips?

Just not enough grip with the finish that is on them?   If so, the rubber version might be good for you.

If you just cannot get a comfortable grip then maybe the thin Aluminum grips would work, or the DaveB, or Karl Nill grips.

I had the aluminum grips, the just did not feel right.   I found a pair of the Nill grips and they fit much better.  Feels like a larger SP-01.

I have big hands, wear XL size gloves.

Good luck....

I have big hands, so when I went from thin grips to a pair from DaveB I had a 'new gun' with great shootability for me.  Can't say enough positive about them or working with DaveB

There are Nill grips, pricy but very nice. I use my 97 for target but they also have a standard size.

I'm waiting for the stock rubber grips for my 97 -- the aluminum is nice, but too smooth and thin for my big hands.

I am another Nill's, fan love mine.
They fit like  CZ75 grip unlike the aluminum ones, they are too square for my tastes.

For me the stock rubber "BD" grips beat all the others. I also like the CZ75 Hogue finger groove grips on the 97...
