questons about czechmate...
« on: December 22, 2015, 04:03:36 PM »
I know the pistol is set up for "open" competition.  But will it function with regular 9mm ammo?  Or does it need the "hot" 9?  I am considering one but don't reload and would most likely only use regular 9mm either as an open minor or without the comp and optics in limited.  Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated...Thanks!

Jon

Having never owned one I still would think if you took the comp off and put the right recoil spring in it, it should run just fine.

I don't have one either  :-\
But I have a TS.
It runs fine with factory ammo. All you would possibly be need to do is adjust the recoil spring.
Go ahead and buy one and be thankful you're not in a state that doesn't allow it.  >:(

I'v never had the $$$ for one,  but I have shot the Czechmate 3x now.  Guys on my squad got tired of me asking questions and told me to go shoot it. :)
They shot minor power factor loads smoothly and accurately.

lighter recoil spring will usually run lighter factory ammo. 9#-10# should work.
