P-01 - A Series vs. B Series Serial Numbers
« on: December 29, 2015, 01:12:53 PM »
Can anyone comment on the differences between P-01 models with serial numbers beginning with A vs. the current models with B series serial numbers?

From a fellow Nugent fan! I don't think it's "A" or "B" series,
just that CZ is making enough to use up the numbers. When this
group reaches the last number, they'll move on to "C".....
but i'm not 100% sure!

There was supposedly an improvement in design from "A" series P-07 to "B" Series P-07 (frame bulge), but I suspect they did that just to try to make the statement simple.
I have not heard or read of any difference between "A" and "B" for any other CZs, just a continuation of serial numbers.

Thanks, guys. Considering the gymnastics and associated costs involved in securing the NATO endorsement, it doesn't make sense to change anything and start over again. I just wanted to be sure the used P-01 I'm about to acquire wasn't appreciably different from the latest offering. It appears that they are indeed unchanged.
