Rami Extended magazine problems.

Last fall I bought a sweet deal on a 40 Cal RAMI that also included a complete 9MM upper assembly from a RAMI-P.

With the stock length magazines this thing is a sweeeeeet shooter. I really, and mean REALLY like this gun.

One issue I ran into. This came with 4 magazines. One in each caliber standard capacity and one each same extended magazines. All original CZ. In both calibers the extended mags have issues with failure to feed the last round.

Any ideas for a simple fix? These mags do not look like they are all that old. The original 40 Cal gun is only 2 years old.

Honestly I'd like to solve this so I can either sell the extended mags or trade them for standard mags. I do not like the feel of the gun with the extended mags.

I've seen some posts like this in the past. I believe most issues were solved with +power mag springs.

Is your .40 Rami also polymer frame? Just asking as I thought the slide on the polymer framed Rami does not work on the alloy frame.

Alloy frame 40. The 9MM RAMI-P slide fits perfectly.

I just replaced my 10rd mag spring with a 75 Compact +10% spring from CZC. The new spring is meant for 75 Compact 14rd mag, so I see no reason why they won't fit a RAMI 14rd mag.

In comparison, the 10%+ spring had one more coil than the 10rd spring.

That's good info Benq. It should work. The Compact and PCR should take the same magazine shell as the extended RAMI mags.

I'm broke until payday so once next Friday rolls around I'll order springs. I'm hoping to then trade them for standard capacity mags as I dislike the feel of the extended mags.
