Craft Holsters: Opinions?

I came across a company that states they make custom holsters for the CZ 83 and am inquiring if anyone had an opinion of them or of use them?  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.  In addition I also found a host or by gal go for the Beretta 84 FS with retention, thumb break.  Has anyone used this holster?  PS I never use inside the waistband but always carry outside the waistband.  I tend to wear snug fitting pants and that is too uncomfortable and it does not fit inside.

Thank you for sharing the picture Arkadi:  the holster looks very nice and I am encouraged by your report so I will go ahead and order one from them and possibly the Glaco also. I never ordered anything from Galco so I wanted to try them. Previously I bought master holsters which worked fine but eventually after a year or two the fit is just not that snug anymore. I have no information how Galco wears out, yet my friend bought one for Glock 43 in chocolate brown color - it's gorgeous, with a little bit of red hint. The PPS holster was very tight at the very beginning, but soon become very comfortable to draw and the tension is consistent up to date. I even do forrest run sessions with it.

Craft Holsters is the U.S. arm of Falco Holsters from Slovakia.  I just received one of their open top iwb holsters for my CZ83 and it's great.  When I placed the order I did so on Falco's web site, but the confirmation e-mail came from Craft.

Very stable and concealable, and the reinforced mouth is stiff enough that it doesn't collapse when the gun is drawn, which makes for easy reholstering.  However, I believe that each holster is "made to order", not shipped from stock, so the wait is pretty long.  I was't too concerned about the wait, as I have a Don Hume belt-clip iwb from my Bersa .380 that fit my CZ83 fine, but it's not nearly as stable, comfortable, or secure as the Falco.

Thanks Tpelle:  Your information is just what I needed and I am in a water one this morning outside the way span right side Black pancake style.  I am also tempted to order a shoulder holster even though I do not find them that comfortable and for self-defense purposes then not recommended.  However when I grew up all the good and bad guys wore shoulder holsters and Don Johnson made them famous and the TV classic "Miami Vice."

Notice how the reinforcement of the holster mouth is above the beltline.  The holster rides high and tight, which makes it less likely to have one's covering garment ride up over the grip, exposing the firearm, when, say, reaching something off of a high shelf in a store, or getting in or out of a car.  It also has a little bit of a cant, which I think keeps the gun/holster combo from trying to slide down, so you're not always doing the CCW-Hop trying to hike your jeans back up.

I am thoroughly satisfied with the Falco holster.

Here is mine in a Gun-glove.  I like it because it cants the weapon forward so the butt doesn't stick out the back and stays close to the body, and because the clip is behind the weapon, rather than on the highest point, sticking out.  Best part is that it was $40!

With the Gun Glove holster, do you experience any shifting around of the holster?  Before I got my Falco I was carrying the CZ83 in a Don Hume belt clip holster that was a perfect fit for my Bersa, but the holster was always rotating around the belt clip.

Nope, mine fits "like a glove" LOL and does not move around. My favorite IWB holster, and I have a few!

I also just received 2 from Gunglove. One forward clip and one rear clip model. Trying both out but they both do fit quite well. Last month I received a couple of Holsters from Eric at HBE holsters for the 82. One was OWB and one IWB. The OWB is absolutely perfect but the IWB molding didn't work out as the 82 falls right out of the holster held upside down. Might be going back to Eric soon for a little makeover. I do highly recommend Gunglove as the 82 fits perfectly in both and the "wings" on each model make them very comfy.

Generally, with an iwb holster, one can depend on the trouser belt being tightened over the holster providing the tension required for retention.
