That's funny! I actually have been working on that exact same thing since I'm finished with my 1911c Grip adapter(for now). That looks nice, I now have something to aim towards!

I want the unicorn drop in trigger everyone was waiting for. It looks cool if that's what you've been waiting for. Maybe I'll like it I need to hold it first.

I was actually speaking with the folks at CZC yesterday afternoon and the parts are being machined right now, should've been done already but there was a delay and they expect it to be ready next month for around $210 or so.

They also offer a trigger job option where you send them the trigger pack and they tune it to about 3.5lbs for $165 door to door.

This is making my head hurt trying to decide if it looks comfortable or not. It looks like the AR grip is going to be far lower than you would want it. Really wish Magpul or another big name would start pumping out a grip, but it took 10 years of constant pleading for them to start making AK stuff so I dont see anything in the CZ world coming for a long time from Magpul.

I think the success of the carbine will either doom aftermarket parts or launch them into a new high paced realm. Right now as a pistol its not mainstream enough. As sbr people are few and in between and even fewer that understand it is legal if done correctly. Now though an importable carbine rifle length barrel 922 compliant and legal major aftermarket companies will look at what they can do if it is imported in enough numbers. Time will tell, and that's good news on the trigger group thanks.

Very interesting. Not sure what I think about it but its a step in the right direction to fixing what CZ should have done in the first place. With so many AR pistol grips out there on the market why wouldn't you design your gun to accept them.

Will this new drop-in trigger pack be 922r compliant?

I'm not sure there will be a drop in trigger set anytime soon, but  before shot show we were told it was in development.  It's why I made the comment of vaporware it seems it is more complicated or cost prohibitive to accomplish as of yet. I am only assuming as I have no fact to go on.

I like that grip. There are 2 things I don't like about the scorpions, the grip and the handguards. Would be nice if there was a slim keymod handguard.

Not having my hands on it but I'd have to agree, the grip does appear to be much lower than normal.

Would like to get my hands on it to try, because the pics make it look way too low.

Why wouldn't they show it with a proper grip like a Magpul MOE-K or something?  .... An A2? Weird.

I agree, but they mentioned (can't remember where) the A2 was all the had laying around the shop at the time.

Am I the only one that doesn't mind the factory grip? The charging handle, mag release, and selector switches are much higher on my list. This is actually one of the only newer guns I've owned that I didn't want to play barbie with. My main ak has been through many styles but I don't see the evo getting much change for me. I am 100% sold on the design and function while being at least 70% happy with the ergos.
