Other caliber choices?
« on: March 05, 2016, 03:43:24 AM »
Are there any hints about possible other caliber choices coming?  Seems to me the 9mm version is very popular, I would think .40 or 10mm would sell like gangbusters too.

I rented a MP10 once and it was incredible.  If I had the money at the time I would bought it on the spot.

Doubtful. They can barely even stock the 9mm option.

.4S&W, I'd love a .40 caliber carbine like the scorpion Plus I'd think it wouldn't be so tuff to make existing parts work in conjunction.

Doubt it. 40sw is on a huge downward spiral industry wide. 40sw guns are moving the fewest new units across the board.

I'd like something akin to a UMP so .45 acp would be a lot of fun

True when you see most leo agencies dumping their .40 caliber glocks off it may be the death sentence I like .40sw but I only mentioned it as it would be easiest to make a scorpion converted to it.

Suppressor, 45acp. 260gr Bullets.  Quiet.  Nuff said.

Best subgun cartridge in my humble opinion is the 10mm. But it is another barely alive caliber, and options are few, even though it IS catching on a bit here and there. I shot an MP-5/10 many years ago, FBI gun, and with two round burst it was very controllable. Don't think we'll see the like again.
Now imagine the Scorpion in .224 BOZ, or 5.7x28mm.....

Yes 10mm is widely still used in competitions for good reason. It is not a mainstream caliber and it is a risk for companies to put guns out for them I bet. I guess its a good thing I reload.

Just make a .40 version with magazine big enough to take a 10mm and I can make it happen.

A .45acp or 10mm would be very tempting.
