High Noon "Pocket Grabber" for a RAMI BD.
« on: March 09, 2016, 12:35:11 PM »
Does anyone out there have a High Noon "Pocket Grabber" holster for a RAMI BD?  Could it be used for cargo pocket carry?  I am not interested in front or back pocket carry.

I've been told not to carry in a cargo pocket.  I can see why.

Grendel,
How do you go about moving a post to another Category on the Forum.

PM a Mod or an Admin. If you're thinking about holsters and accessories, you'll get far more pertinent traffic here from other RAMI owners than there.

Just my opinion--
The Rami is too heavy for cargo pocket carry. I love my Rami and carry IWB. But I just don't think it'd be comfortable carrying in my cargo pocket. YMMV.

I usually conceal carry a P-01 or a PCR most of the year IWB or OWB; except in the very hot humid summers of the St. Louis area where the humidity can reach 90% and not a rain cloud in the sky. You can break a sweat just going out to get the mail.  In summer I carry a Sig P938 in a Talon wallet holster in the cargo pocket, and it works great.  It looks like I am carrying my wallet in my left thigh pocket.
I just bought a Rami BD recently, and I can shoot much tighter and farther groups with it than my P938.  I can carry my RAMI BD in all of my cargo pants & shorts with a universal pocket holster.  It is noticeably heavier and does print slightly.  A "Pocket Grabber" for RAMI BD does fit my cargo pockets.  I think I just might order one anyway; it not all that expensive.  I love all of my other High Noon holsters and belts they work great.
Just like to have another option for carry in the hot humid summers of St. Louis.  IWB is not an option the heavy sweat ruins holsters(2) and pistols(1).

I just looked at the pocket grabber. Interesting maybe for a PPS.
I also fell that the RAMI would be to heavy for me to carry in a pocket.
I was surprised they made them for the P-01 and other larger pistols like a PPQ.

Carry your cell phone in your cargo pocket.  My experience was that it was not easy to get to, get out of the cargo pocket.  I found myself leaning over, pulling at the velcro to open it, etc.  I use iwb.

Hope that helps.
