Summertime is either P01 or Rami. In cold weather, could be PX4 Storm compact, or even 75B in real cold weather. Just rebuilt a CZ 83, and carried it yesterday.

Currently splitting time with my CZ P-07 Urban Grey, Sig Sauer P226 TacOps and my Sig Sauer P320c, all with Inforce APL weapon lights, carried AIWB in a T. Rex Arms Raptor holster.  On occasion, I pocket carry my Ruger LCP Custom with Viridan R5 laser, or carry my M&P Shield with Streamlight TLR-6, AIWB.

CZ P-07 Urban Grey 9mm
CGW Pro-Grade, Short Reset, Polished

Wish List:
CZ Shadow 2 Cajunized

I've resumed carrying my P-06 since I had to send my G43 in for warranty work. I'm almost glad I was forced to stop carrying the block, single stack made me lazy. I forgot how much I enjoy carrying a real gun. Might be time for a Rami.

First real carry weapon was Dan Wesson 14-2, then I have gone through a variety of 1911's as carry,  a steel Commander, a officers model, a Commander alloy frame, a  steel defender, a alloy officers model (I still carry that when I get in the 1911 mood).
then the Beretta PX4SC, and finally the CZ P-01.
The CZ's are just nuts reliable (a must for me if carry), all three that I own are very accurate for me and the alloy framed P-01 isn't bad  to carry although a bit fat compared to the 1911.
IF going to inner city Atlanta I usually strap on a EAA Witness 10 MM or 38 Super , for power and capacity.

Have any of you transitioned from another platform to the CZ?

Are you glad you did?

Opinions are very welcome.

I have carried several different platforms: Colt 1911, Sig P226, Sig P220, Glock 17, Glock 19, Glock 21, HK Usp 9, HK Usp 40, Hk Usp 45, Beretta M9, S&W 9, Ruger SR45, and have shot nearly everything I can get my hands on.
I went to CZ a few years ago because I started to hear chatter on a gun forum about them. I really liked the looks of the SP-01 so I picked a used one up for $550. I never went back... I tried.
I bought a Glock 17 to replace the Sp-01 as my CCW, but was unhappy with the performance versus the CZ. The only benefit to the Glock that the Sp-01 did not have was weight. But anyone who knows anything about physics or firearms in general knows that more weight = less recoil = faster follow ups. I ended up rebuying the Sp-01 after selling it for the G17, and I have never went back. I have had only minor issues with the Sp-01 when it comes to malfunctions, but those were due to me doing a "torture test" of sorts by running it dry, firing several hundreds of rounds, to see what happened. But it has not disappointed me. I take it with me literally every single place I can legally do so.

I am a CZ fanatic, but I must confess that I carry a Walther PPS everyday. I don't have a RAMI BD or a suitable holster for my P-01 yet. Still looking out for the perfect deal on a RAMI BD, or just waiting to get off of my lazy ass and get night sights and a holster for my P-01, lol.

Z0tex. I'm with you on the PPS, and on the P01. In April I had the P07 and the Sig P320c as my edc. I have since then sold the 320 (still a great gun) and replaced the P07 with the P01 (still have the P07). Absolutely love the P01. I need to spend the money on a quality holster to, but for now I just owb carry with a cheap do all holster and a button shirt, or a 2x tshirt. I have also appendix carried it, but I really dont have the proper build anymore.
CZ SP01 Tactical, CZ SP01 Phantom, CZ P07, CZP01, CZCadet kit, CZ Scorpion EVO S1.

I EDC my CZ 75 B.  Always IWB, in either a Falco it 92 holster, or in an Israeli "Yamam" IWB holster.  I'm a big guy, and can conceal it under a one-size-larger tee shirt in the summer.  Easier in cooler months, of course, when I can wear a jacket or sweatshirt.

I carried a full-size 1911 for years, so the 75 is easy.

Exactly!!! I did the same thing. The weight doesn't affect me.

I carried my CZ 85 the other day, just around the yard while walking the dogs.  Nope, not for me.  I can't hide it in an IWB holster.  I gave one of the two I bought to my youngest son for his CZ 75 SA, to see it he could get away with it.

It just sticks out too much.  I can look down and see it, my right arm is constantly bumping it.  I'll stick with the P07.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

A lot depends on the holster.  I find, when carrying a full size pistol, that a holster with a lot of cant positions the grip frame of the pistol more vertically, aligning it with the axis of the body and reducing the tendency for it to stick out to the rear.  Makes all of the difference in the world.

Straight drop holsters have their roots in the "gun games" such as IPSC, and which don't translate into real world use very well.
