I came across some reviews and thought, this sure does look like a CZ 99, all cleaned up.

Do the Arex and Zastava magazines interchange? I could use another for my Zastava, and don't feel like cutting it.

I like to hold a pistol in my own grubby hands before I say I like it or not but from what I saw in the video it looks like a good one . Have fun-be safe .

The only real issues with the AREX Zero one is the heavy double action pull and current lack of aftermarket support. I loved shooting it in single action mode, zero malfunctions and it beat Sig in head to head torture tests on the military arms channel. With that said Sig has a better double action pull and has aftermarket support. No if you don't have a problem carrying it cocked and locked with the safety on the buy the AREX single action pull and accuracy were outstanding save yourself some money buy getting the AREX and buy more ammo with the savings!

It looks like a great gun. I had a CZ999 awhile back and really liked it but the grip was a little big for me, my wife couldn't handle it at all. They've dried up around here. The only shop that had them says they can't get anymore in. I hope the distributor of the Arex does a better job of getting them out there, and getting parts in. I'm sure they will. From the reviews, it sounds like they want to make a splash in the US market.
Congrats on finding a great pistol.
I've found that growing up in the sixties was a lot more fun than being in my sixties.

I love mine.  That really heavy DA pull is my only complaint....

I pulled out all my sight sets that I have on hand,I have all the major pistol{semi autos} brands in stock except Sig and Springfiled XDs series . it looks like It will be Sig on the dovetail size, I have ruled the rest out. So I will take my chances and order a night sight set for a Sig P226 and fit those when they arrive .

I just ordered a Rex Zero 1S today and joined the club off Reddington Rd. Happy days!

Did the Sig P226 sight fit your Rex "0"?

Sig springs won't work The Arex spring is a longer heavier design.

Brian,

About a year past your purchase of the Rex zero 1. DId you ever find sights that drop in and were you able to lower the DA weight?   My Rex is in transit as I type.

regards,

No I have not swapped anything out on it yet, you will love the single action, double action not so much. Zero failures to date with the pistol.

How's the recoil when compared to a CZ? Muzzle flip and whatnot.

recoil and muzzle flip minimal .I liked everything about the pistol except the double action trigger pull.  I would have no problem using the compact as a carry pistol, I would carry it cocked and locked so I could take advantage of the nice SA pull.

only gun to go through the MAC torture test without a single malfunction

and speaking of balcanic guns, i had a chance to hold some of the croatian HS guns. pretty impressive, and excellent trigger for a striker fired gun
