I bought one of the CZ-83s and should receive it this week as well.  I had an 82 in the past and gave it up during a caliber consolidation. I have always regretted it as it had wonderful ergonomics and a great trigger.   They claim the 83s are in very nice condition.  I'll post a pic when I receive it.

Crap!  I snoozed so I missed out!

I had been waiting for someone to get these for a long time and finally Aim had them so I was able to get one.  I received it last Thursday and shot it on Sunday.  Unfortunately it did not go so well.  I had the double action problem that some of these have, that I read about.  It will not fire single action except for the first shot.  Every shot after the hammer follows the slide back and will not stay back.  I have an email into AIM to see if they can do anything for me.  Have not heard back yet.  I hope they can as I really like it and have waited a while to finally get one.

Yeah I am not happy.  They have not gotten back to me yet so I am a little worried.  I saw another thread about this batch and it looks like someone else has the same problem but they kind of figured it out.  I am not going to go that rout as I want it to be 100% or I do not trust it.  I will update when and if they get back to me.  Hope you are right about the few they keep in reserve for warranty replacement.

Well it is a no go on the replacement.  They have none in stock for that.  So it is either send it back for a refund or pay to have it fixed by CZusa.  Not sure what I want to do.  Really want the gun but I don't really want to pay more to fix it when it should have been right in the first place.  But then again it is a surplus gun so they all can't be perfect.  I guess I have been spoiled as all my other (4) surplus pistols have been great right out of the box.

APEX (Armory Parts Exchange) has CZ82 parts, generally cheaper than CZ-USA.  They are currently out of stock on disconnectors, though.
