Parrot?
« on: April 22, 2016, 07:32:40 PM »
I buy a lot of guns, I am addicted to firearms and I've recently decided to start a CZ collection.

This image is originally from thefirearmblog.com.  If I'm in violation of anything let me know, I'll upload the photo from my phone.

So can the CZ fanatics shed some light on this guy?  My gun shop just got one of these and a black Czechmate as well, deciding which one to get.  I've never seen one on the secondary market and there isn't much info on the interwebs.

Is this the type of gun I would be a fool to shoot or can I enjoy shooting it once in a while and still hold its value?  This gun would not be for self defense or competition, it would just be a part of the 'cool gun to shoot' category.

Can anyone breakdown the major difference between a regular Czechmate and this Parrot?  When the gunshop called, I literally had to google the CZ 'Parrot'.

I really appreciate the collective knowledge on this!

The Czechmate & the Parrot are the same gun, just one has color. CZ Customs had some a few years ago.  they do not come into the US often.  Is this a new one or used?

The answer is get both.  One to collect and one to shoot.

This one is brand new in the box.  Thanks for the info, I have decided on the regular Czechmate, the Parrot was too rich for my blood.
