Adjusting Kadet sights
« on: July 06, 2006, 06:12:29 AM »
I just received my NIB Kadet kit. It looks like the rear sight is out of level -- the right dot is lower than the left dot. Any thoughts on how to correct that? Adjusting the sights up/down just move the whole thing up. These are visibly out of alignment horizontally.

I haven't had it to the range yet to see how well it shoots, but I feel like a "gangsta" having to tilt my hand to get the rear sight level.

            Any insights are appreciated.

            Thanks!

I see nobody has answered this post, sorry for that. In this forum, we are usually fast to reply! :rolleyes

My advice is, since it is the sight itself, to take it to a gunsmith, to have the sight either corrected, if possible. Or have it exchanged. ;)

I had a white dot, that was not aligned once, and it bothered the **** out of me. Then I put on Rolling Stones and painted it black. Have never regretted since. I only use the silhuett of the back sight, and with a fiberoptic front sight, it works dandy.
