pic of Urban Grey P-07/P-09 suppressor night sights?
« on: May 15, 2016, 05:07:28 PM »
Hey - could someone with an  Urban Grey P-07 or P-09 post a pic of the sights from the shooter's perspective? All the pics I've found are profile pics of the gun.

Thanks much!

I have an Urban Grey scheduled for delivery today. Is the rear adjustable for windage via a set screw like my SP-01, or is it friction/drift type?

Well, mine came with a set screw on both front and rear... Maybe they're still finalizing details?

I was going to post a pic, but it was HUGE...

FWIW, the front sight measures .360", and the rear is .380" but I haven't fired it so I have no idea if POA = POI.

Another kind of strange thing is that they have white dots on the front that correspond to where the tritium is on the rear. Odd...

Loving my Urban Grey P07, the night sights are great night sights but not so great for the range. I hit a little low at 7 yards and about dead on at 10 yards. I can't decide if I want to put some CZ75 mepro sights on it or Dawson Precision fiber. Or just leave them alone.

The night sights are super bright compared to any of my Trijicons but I think that is mostly do the the clear sealer used to hold the vial in vs a sapphire/glass lense like Trijicon.

Can you post a picture of the sights? I haven't heard of any adjustable sights on this gun.

The set screw on the rear is not for windage adjustment, the set screws on the front and rear sights secure the sight to the slide. Windage adjustments are made by drifting the rear sight and then locking it down with the set screw. My earlier question was to whether the sights were strictly an interference fit or if they had a set screw to help them stay in place. Sorry for the confusion.

I haven't figured out why my photobucket pics are HUGE when I preview the post; other boards shrink them to fit the page.

Thanks for clarifying....

I re-size my pictures prior to posting (600-800 pics width) and I use PhotoBucket.

Went ahead and resized a few pics of the sights.

Never seen white dots on the front of sights before...
