Newest Israeli Police Pistol to join the family
« on: May 19, 2016, 11:12:24 PM »
For some reason I like the available surplus hand guns attributed to the Israeli Police.  I have 3 Browning High Powers (a 1954 commercial model supposedly a Jerusalem Police Department Gun), a Mk II, and a Mk III.  I also have a Beretta Model 84BB (hi-cap .380).  My next purchase was an Israeli made Bul Storm, a CZ-75 clone; and today I picked up a 1989 CZ-75; that Aim Surplus had for sale last week.  Serial Number is in the C46XX range; came with one magazine.

I'll post some photos later; like most of the Israeli LE trade-ins, exterior condition goes from fair to poor; but internally they they all look pretty good...

My first CZ was an Israeli trade-in, too.  Ugly outside; nicely smoothed inside.  Just ordered my second a couple of hours ago.

Lousy Cellphone photos, but it cleaned up very nicely; I'll try to get some nicer photos tomorrow...

Looks like you got a nice one.  The finish is in remarkably good shape.

I picked up a couple of the 84 Israeli 84F's from CDI and love them. I now have a 75 preB as well from 86. I hate the polycoat finish so it will be cerakote time.

Great photos!  Nice collection.

New ones say "CZECH REPUBLIC" on them.

Other than the wear and tear, they still look the same.

You can order a new barrel, and then the pistol should be good as brand new with it.

I ordered two of the "transitional" pre-Bs myself. I'm told that some of the transitionals will take any CZ magazine - A or B models. I've also read that the internal part of the mag well on older pre-Bs can be slightly ground down to accept the newer mags. I'd personally rather not, but there is something to be said for magazine compatibility I suppose.

Greg Cote. http://gregcotellc.com/cart/cz-factory-magazines-base-pads-c-173/cz-75-preb-full-size-16-rd-9mm-factory-magazine-11114-p-1403.html
That's for pre B. They're also great for any other CZ mag. Both factory and Mecgar. (Which is who makes the OEM mags[emoji6])

Nice collection you have. Really liking the round trigger guard. Any issue with hammer bite on the first one?

Congratulations on your new-to-you surplus Pistols and may they serve you well!  :)  8)

You'll find, if you already have not, that the Bul Storm is based on the Series 88 Small Frame Tanfoglio Cz Clones, and Small Frame Witness parts should work in it, should you need any.
Also, Cz75B Magazines should fit and function just fine with it.  You should post about it over in the Clone Section of this Forum.
