I've shot the plastic guns at 100 yards recently, but not really well.  Nothing wrong with the guns, mainly just my eyesight and impatience with achieving good trigger control.  Tonight I went out with the specific objective of shooting the plastic guns well at 100 yards.  But I had a little wind problem...

These are fine, fine handguns with excellent parts from CGW.  The red dot comes off the P-07 this week and the night sights go on and the 3.8" bullseye, long range demonstration gun goes back to its original service of home defense, training, and new shooter gun.  But dang, its a shooter, just like the P-09's.

I had to do some work on the audio on the P-07 segment for this video of the best of two 100 yard targets with the P-07.  This one is quite good, I think.  Limitation is my eyesight, not the gun.

I don't have a clue.  Atlanta Arms 115 JHP minor power factor match ammo.  All I've shot in years when I cared where the holes are going to be.  Has worked very well in every CZ I've tried.

Nice shooting. Nice to see the potential of the gun, even if the shooter is not up to it.

I absolutely LOVE long range shooting with handguns.  I do most of my practice at 100-150 yards because I LOVE the challenge.  I can score out at distance very well with my CZ75 (pre-B), but my absolute best pistol at 150 yards is my Colt 1911 in .38 Super.

With 9mm and Super, many would be surprised at how flat they shoot.  Hold with iron sights is basically dead on at 100 yards, and the first sliver of front sight above the rear out at 150.

With shooting at those distances, it gives me great confidence when the targets are closer.

Same here on both counts.  Good to hear about other folks' experience.  I have to practice 100 yards more often, however.  I struggled some last week at 100 with the P-09 and the P-07.  It was me, not the pistols.

I shot my .308 bolt action rifle at the range yesterday, from a bench, instead of prone.  I have often stated that I shoot everything better now than I did before I became a bullseye match shooter.  Yesterday with the rifle, results were good, I think due to some additional 100 yard bench shooting with the pistol.

I have a 12" x 20" steel silhouette set at 50 yards off my deck.  I shoot a mag full after work a couple of nights a week.  The real challenge for me is off hand, of course.  On a good day, I can hit 8 out of 10.

When my daughter got home from college a couple of weeks ago, we went out back so she could shoot my new SP-01 Tactical.  She hit ten for ten with her first round, off hand.

She's at field training right now for Air Force ROTC.  She wants to score Excellent on the handgun portion.

I really hope she does.  They took their phones from them when they arrived last week and they will get them back on the 24th of this month when they are done.  I guess we'll find out then if she doesn't write.
