Just won an auction for a new P-01.

I'm pretty sure it's not the new omega model, but for $520 delivered to my FFL, I couldn't stop myself. Now I'm having second thoughts, so is this a good deal?

Not an Omega, but still worth every penny.

The NSN is the NATO Serial Number, see explanation at http://cz-usa.com/product/cz-p-01-9mm-black-alloy-14-rd-mags/

IMHO, like a 1953 Corvette, you're better to keep it "all original".

Having said that, I had the factory sights on mine replaced (but kept the originals) by CZ Custom since I found the original sights to be really lousy.

About what I paid for mine a couple years ago so I'd say you didn't do bad.

Fair price for a great pistol. Once you hold it and get it to the range the second thoughts will disappear.

Well the second thoughts are over now. I paid for it this morning, and Sportmans Supply shipped it an hour ago.

LOL!  Isn't that the way it is?  I finally broke down and bought my first Marlin .30-30 lever action.  Wondered if I had made a right decision.  Got to the range, loaded it up, and that first "click-click" of the lever chambering a round removed all doubt about owning it.

You did very well. Nice pistol; one of my favorites. I have 2 P01s and a CZC SDP, and all are excellent.

I did upgrade the sights on my two standard P01s with Meprolight tritiums...

Enjoy it!

That's the best delivered price I've seen on a P01.

I did walk away from a new 75 Compact today, marked $499, which is pretty good for a gun store at gun show. I almost started bargining, but I'm in the middle of an AR build, so limited funds.
