I retired my P-07 from bullseye competition, removed the Burris FF3 3moa and Springer Precision mount, trimmed the beavertail of Sugru, put the medium grip on, trimmed the JB-Weld from the trigger a little.  Here is what it looks like now.

With the night sights, which are excellent,

I am out of Atlanta Arms 115 JHP so I tried a handfull of various 115 JHP while checking the rear sight position for a 25 yard zero with good results as shown below.  I also shot some Rem UMC 115 gr practice and gun class ammo from Academy Sports.  Best I could do was about a 4" group at 25 yards with the UMC.

The Rem 115 UMC simply doesn't seem to do well in these CZ pistols, compared to how they shoot in a SIG.   The zero is certainly different between the rounds.  Looks to me like a 115 JHP should be just fine.  I moved the rear sight over about .020" after this group and called it good.

I only used the magazines with the standard base plates, no problems at all.  I'll try the extended ones and some magazine springs from a 75B next.

I understand now why so many people like the P-07 pistols--not too big, not too small, just right...and still excellent mechanically.

I like mine even more than I thought I would. I think a magazine extension would make it nearly perfect.

IMO it absolutely does... The CZ +2 base pads are great. Time will tell how durable they prove to be but they are pretty inexpensive regardless.

Just curious, what is purpose of JB weld on trigger??

JB Weld on the trigger--to increase the trigger reach for my long skinny fingers.  I did it on the P-09's and it worked well.  Most folks don't need it.  I only do it on the guns I shoot in bullseye matches or long distances.
