So i ordered mags over the weekend and DHL denied the shipment, on the grounds that it had weapon parts. Czub emailed me and confirmed this...not sure how the others got them into the country [emoji53]

Mine came via DHL so I don't know what's going on either......are magazines considered weapons "parts"?  Maybe DHL had an increase in shipments of mags (because of us CZ forum members) and they just noticed they were magazines and were a prohibited (per DHL) item???

Part of the high shipping cost was DHL doing all the export/import paperwork. Could be Czech authorities have looked closer at their regs or misinterpreted them. Or USA authorities think the word "Czech" is part of China and hence Chinese guns, parts and ammo can't be imported.
Pretty dumb though as CZ sends complete guns and parts to us. Maybe CZ-USA complained. Lots of could be's and maybe's. They probably won't say for sure.

I would be more inclined to believe that CZ-USA complained that we were cutting into the profit margin of their over priced mags. >:(

Maybe CZ-UB needs to explore other options for shipping to the USA besides DHL. I doubt if CZ-USA complained about losing anything. They are not the only dealer that stocks these mags either and to be fair they have to purchase their stock from CZ-UB as well and they are in business to make a profit.
If we are lucky one day maybe the non- competition agreement between Mec-Gar and CZ will be dissolved and Mec-Gar will be able to make P-07/P-09 mags at lower prices like they do for the standard 75 series pistols.

DONT IMPORT MAGAZINES WITHOUT A FORM 6.

Sorry, I'm not yelling... I just wanted that in bold.

The atf states that a form 6 needs to be filled out and approved before any firearm parts in excess of $100 can be imported in lot the states.

Same for me this weekend.  Just got an email saying DHL recently started refusing to ship "gun parts" to some countries including USA.  Order being cancelled and refunded.

Called CZUSA customer service to inquire about US availability and to verify correct mag for my new generation P-07.  Person not very helpful.  Stock answer was that if it's not on the website, it isn't available... :(

I got an email from Vera at CZUB.CZ today as well.

"Until September it was possible and we delivered in US and all world by DHL with no problems. But now DHL stopped to delivered our packages due to legislative. ... So we are also surprised, why it happened. So at this moment you can?t order directly from us, sorry."

Bummer! :'(

These last few posts explain why I can't get my order to go through! Too bad. We can always blame it on the Pres.

Gunmagswarehouse.com has some "16" round gen 1s for about $37. Still incredibly expensive but cheaper than I've seen many places, and I've never had any problems with the old ones.
