52 evolution
« on: June 19, 2016, 05:56:32 PM »
I have had a 75b for several years. I really love it. But I recently acquired a CZ 52 which I liked even more from the very beginning. Then I did some really simple trigger work done and then really love it more.
I really just don't understand why that pistol design has not been replicated by CZ or any other semi automatic pistol manufacturer. It  just works so nicely.  it shoots a very powerful round. It feels like a 9mm through a much heavier frame.  If this gun was cloned in any caliber, I would certainly consider buying it.
Are there any others of the same or similar design in different calibers?  If not,  why not?

Have you considered getting a 9mm barrel version?

No, I have several full size 9s.  I really like the Tokarev round.

H&K uses a similar slide roller lock design.

Not roller lock, but roller delay dynamic bolt - absolutly different solution.
