any damage reported when using the CGW firing pin retaining pin and no snap caps? Just curious
With a heavy enough hammer spring and enough dry firing i have seen only a few. I am unclear on all of the details of these select situations so other things may have figured into the outcome. What i take from this personalty is that for
most all CZ owners it will never come up but there is very little down side in using an O-ring so i use one for anything surpassing limited dry fire. I do not like snap caps for high volume dry firing, they break down over time and shed aluminum shavings into the pistol. I use snap caps for function testing only these days.
