Sandpaper or Stone

I'm awaiting the arrival of my new Kadet Kit.  I was wonder which would be better to use for fitting, sandpaper or a stone?
            Any input will be appreciated.
            Thanks in advance,

a medium steel file, then smoothed it with some fine sandpaper.  Took 10 - 20 minutes total.

P.S. - the first CZ 75B/Kadet combo I had fit with no filing needed.  Try it first.

I used DMY fine and medium diamond stones.  I wouldn't advise sandpaper, use paper made for steel - yes - but use with a hard backing or you'll round edges you don't mean to.

I used a honing stone and honing oil and was very happy with the end result - it was a little difficult to avoid filing down the nearby surfaces, so I had to take my time.
Remember:  it will seem tight as heck, and then SUDDENLY it will begin sliding in - fit.  File a little, then test... lather, rinse and repeat until you are snug as a bug.

A small chainsaw file worked fine for me.
