Yes that was the plan try ot determine a pattern of failure.
So far based on what I have found on this forum and other places. The jury is still out on how much of a issues it is.
A contact I have at CZ-USA told me "The magazine failures is not that big of a problem and are approximately less than .01% of the hundred of thousands of these magazines out in the world. They will replace magazines as they fail IF you contact them, AND they have magazines available. They also believe it is a very small amount of people reporting this issue on line, and those reporting failure report it on several different forums. Which makes the issue seem much bigger than it is"
Now this is all good, but I wonder how accurate what they claim the failure rate is. If you have 10 magazines an 1 fails you may not even think to contact them. Military units may not ever report failures as magazines are more likely to be damaged by military use, then in civilian use.
I had high hopes of getting some usable data based on the users of this forum, but that does not appear to be happening...
So it is possibly CZ is correct and the magazine failure rate is very low. or maybe they are down play the issue. I do not know.
It appears to me based on responses to this thread that the this may not actually be a issue. If I am wrong on this do not blame me, I tried to get data on this it just seems that not much is actually available, or possibly no one really cares.
